Davidson County Veterans Honor Guard members are active in the community and many of our members are also members of other community or veterans organizations, councils, or fraternities. We actively work together and support these community entities. We participate in the Memorial Day parade in Thomasville, NC as well as the Veterans Day parade in Lexington, NC. We have members who have been fortunate to participate in one of the North Carolina Triad Honor flights experience to Washington DC. We participate in many annual events at the North Carolina Vietnam Veterans Memorial, located on Interstate 85, in Thomasville, NC. Our members perform a community Flag Retirement Ceremony two times a year at our meeting location, for anyone who needs to have an un-serviceable American flag properly retired.
Davidson County Veterans Honor Guard is funded through fundraising events and donations from individuals. Please visit our homepage to learn more about how you can support our mission.
