About Us
Our Mission
At Davidson County Veterans Honor Guard, our mission is to provide dignified honor guard services for all military veteran's funerals in our community. We believe that all veterans deserve the highest honors as they are laid to rest.
Our Guard also participates in veteran's holiday ceremonies, commemorations, parades, and events in the local community.
Our Services
At the request of the military veteran's family, funeral home, cemetery director, or veterans service organization, we may provide the flag folding ceremony and presentation, three-round rifle volley, playing of Taps by a bugler, and presentation of three rifle shell casings to the family.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. All honorably discharged military veterans are welcome to apply for membership. All that is required is a valid DD214 and a desire to honor veterans. We understand your time is valuable and we have minimal participation requirements to maintain your membership in good standing.
